Lindsay Freeman is a senior from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. She is majoring in accounting and would be described by her sisters as passionate, giving, and optimistic. Lindsay is very involved on
Auburn's campus, volunteering in many different organizations like HCOB and Project Uplift. In HCOB Executive Society, Lindsay acts as an ambassador for the College of Business and gives tours to prospective students and their families. She also assists the dean in any events she puts on as well as various on campus events and activities. Lindsay also participates in Project Uplift with her roommate and fellow Pi Phi sister Kendall Baker. In this program they mentor or are “big sisters” to a little girl named Trinity. For a few hours each week they do things like help her with her homework, arts and crafts, and bake goodies. Children are referred to the program by family, coaches, or teachers in order for them to develop the proper skills to be happy, healthy and successful. Being a part of this organization has easily been one of the greatest highlights during Lindsay's four years at Auburn. It is so much fun and so rewarding and Lindsay encourages everyone to give it a try!
Another club Lindsay participates in is Beta Alpha Psi, which is the accounting honor society. Looking back on all her years as a Pi Phi, Lindsay would say that her favorite year was probably sophomore year living on the hall. She would say this because sophomore year was the year she got close with all of her best friends and a lot of her favorite memories at Auburn and in Pi Phi were made during that year. Pi Phi became Lindsay's home because during rush, she felt very welcomed and relaxed in this chapter. To this day, Lindsay still feels the same way. She loves Pi Phi because she feels that she can 100% be herself and still be loved and supported by her sisters. Lindsay feels that she has never met so many down to earth girls with incredibly big hearts and intelligent minds. She is so thankful for everyone and everything Pi Phi has given her!! The things Lindsay could not live without are her family & friends, cheese, games on her phone, chicken nuggets, and fuzzy blankets. Here at Pi Phi, one thing we know we couldn't live without are sisters like Lindsay.
