Brenna Middleton is a junior from Gulf Shores, AL majoring in marketing. She is a huge avocado
bagel girl and loves meeting new people. Traveling is a huge part of her and she hopes to be traveling until the day she dies! Last year she was involved in The Relay for Life Committee for Auburn University, Student Association of Mentoring, and also intramural volleyball for Pi Phi. This Fall and Spring Brenna will be a marketing intern for Auburn Athletics. The best part of her summer is her study abroad program she is currently doing with Lead Abroad. She is in Greece for two weeks and Italy for one with the program, and then meeting her parents in another part of Italy for a week to spend some more time in this amazing place! Brenna likes to take every opportunity she can to meet new people and experience new things. She also loves staying busy (you should see her planner) and being involved in organizations helps her attain time management skills. Brenna had heard about so many people studying abroad while at Auburn and knew it wasn’t something she could pass up! She has met some of the most amazing girls (including Pi Phis from other schools around the country) while experiencing things she would never have gotten to do if she hadn’t have come, including hiking a volcano, bungee jumping at the Corinth Canal, riding a donkey up a mountain in Santorini, hiking to the Acropolis and learning all about the Greek and Italian culture. Experiences are worth so much more than materialistic things. This is an adventure Brenna will never forget and something she would recommend for everyone! Don’t be scared to sign up on your own, as well. She came here not knowing anyone and it was the best decision and now she has lifelong friends because of it.
