Ansley Shields is a rising junior from Johns Creek, Georgia. She is currently the Vice President of Housing for Auburn Pi Beta Phi. She is the youngest of three girls as well as a third generation Auburn student. War Eagle! Her favorite thing to do is get an iced machiatto from Starbucks and scour the racks of TJMaxx. Ansley says that joining Pi Phi has honestly been the best part of college. She believes that meeting these girls who she calls her sisters and best friends was fate. She could not feel more blessed to stand beside them all. Ansley always knew she wanted to hold a leadership position in Pi Phi, but never thought of being on the Executive committee. She decided that she wanted to be a part of Exec when she saw the impact each group leaves. Being on exec has taught Ansley so much, especially confidence. Going into this position she struggled with believing in herself and her choices, but now she knows what she is capable of and is so honored to serve in this way. After her term Ansley wants to be remembered as a member who put her sisters first. Someone who worked for the greater good of the group and not just herself. She hopes others will remember her in this way. Exec has been such a privilege and she encourages all members to keep an open mind about it. PPL!
