My name is Kaleigh McKenna and I am a junior. I am from Marlton, New Jersey which is about 15 hours from Auburn. The three things in the world that I can't live without are: national parks, guacamole, and coffee. I am a Nursing major in my second semester of Nursing school at the Auburn University School of Nursing- if you are a pre-nursing major
and need a pep talk lmk!! You can do it!!! If I had to describe myself in three words, they would be that I am determined, strong, and independent. During the week, I teach cycling classes at the rec and have been since fall of my freshman year. Fitness, especially cycling is a huge part of my heart. I feel so much better when I have a good workout and feel even better when I teach a good workout. So far my favorite year in Pi Phi was my sophomore year because of the hall! I loved living on the hall because I was able to get closer with so many of my sisters. I didn't know my current roommates before I lived on the hall and am so thankful for the other friendships it gave me. Everyone's door was always opened, and there was always someone to hang out with
or study with. I am very thankful for the people who stayed up studying with me until 2am on countless occasions and kept me sane. I love Pi Phi so much because I didn't know anyone coming to Auburn, or anything about greek life, so I had no idea what to expect during rush. I fell in love with Pi Phi on sisterhood day and knew that this was my home. I had such genuine conversations with girls that day and could see myself being one of them. I am so happy I went Pi Phi because this sisterhood has given me some of the best friendships from all over the country. I love that the girls in our chapter our so diverse but still have the same core values.
